John Part 1 (Ch 1-6)

The prayer for this first lesson on the Gospel of John is that Christ will become more real to us as we behold His glory and in beholding His glory that we may believe and in believing that we may do the works that He did and even greater.  For the next 10 weeks we will saturate our minds and our hearts with the infallible truths of John.  As we discover and take posession of this jewel which is ours, we will truly find ourselves inheritors of wealth untold.

John Part 2 (Ch 7-11)

"So a division occurred in the crowd because of Him" (John 7:43).

This week in John 7 you'll observe the different responses of people to Jesus.  Just as the people of Jesus' time on earth were divided concerning who He is and where He was from, so people are today.  All around us we hear man's opinions of who Jesus is, but what does God's Word say ....and what is your response to Him?

Before you begin, be sure to stop and ask God to teach you by His Spirit as you would His Word.  "Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding" (Proverbs 2:2)

John Part 3 (Ch 12-21)

This study is so that you might share in great measure the intimacy the disciples knew with the Lord when He drew aside from the world to instruct His own.

This portion of the Gospel of John, especially chapters 13 through 17, contains some of the most enlightened to be found in the Word of God on the intimacy that belongs to the child of God with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  If you want to know what Jesus meant when He said that He had come that we might have life and have it more abundantly, it is here in this segment of John that you will find the abundance of life to which Jesus is referring.
